Note: इस प्रश्न-पत्र को पाँच खण्डों-अ, ब, स, द एवं इ में विभाजित किया गया है। खण्ड-अ (लघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न) में एक लघु उत्तरा, जिसके दस भाग है। ये सभी दस भाग अनिवार्य हैं। खण्डों-बस दतथा ड (विस्तत उत्तरीय प्रश्न) प्रत्येक मंदा प्रश्नहा प्रत्यक खण्ड से एक प्रश्न करना है।
विस्तृत उत्तर अपेक्षित है।
This paper is divided into five Sections-A, B, C, DOE. Section-A (Short Answer Questions) contains one question of ten parts requiring short answer. ten parts are compulsory. Sections-B, C, D & E (Descriptive Answer Questions) each contains two questions. Attempt one question from each Section. Answer must be descriptive.

Note : इस खण्ड में एक प्रश्न के दस भागों के लघु उत्तर अपेक्षित हैं। प्रत्येक भाग 2 अंक का है।
1.(i) ‘हुमायूँनामा’ के लेखक कौन था?
Who was the author of ‘Humayunamah’?
(ii) भारतीय शासकों के विरुद्ध बाबर की सफलता के किन्हीं दो कारणों को बताइए।
Write any two reasons for the success of Babur in India against Indian rulers.
(iii) ‘मनसब’ को परिभाषित कीजिए।
Define ‘Mansab’.
(iv) फतेहपुर सीकरी में स्थापित कुछ महत्वपूर्ण इमारतों के नाम लिखिए।
Write the name of some important buildings located in the city of Fatehpur Sikri.
(v) उस विद्वान अथवा इतिहासकार का नाम लिखिए जो अकबर की नीतियों का घोर विरोधी था।
Name the historian or scholar who was bitter against of Akbar policies.
(vi) नूरजहाँ कौन थी और उसका वास्तविक नाम क्या था?
Who was Nurjahan and what was her real name?.
(vii) शाहजहाँ को किस शासक ने कैद किया था?

(viii) मराठो के ‘चौथ’ तथा ‘सरदेशमुखी’ को परिभाषित कीजिए।

(ix) मुगल साम्राज्य का अन्तिम शासक कौन था?

(x) अहमदशाह अब्दाली कौन था तथा उसके द्वारा कौन-सी लड़ाई लड़ी गई?

4. अकबर की राजपूत नीति का वर्णन कीजिए तथा मुगल साम्राज्य पर इसका क्या प्रभाव पड़ा। Discuss the Rajput policy of Akbar and its effects on the Mughal empire.

शेरशाह सूरी की प्रशासन व्यवस्था का उल्लेख कीजिए।
