उद्यमी और प्रबन्धक में मुख्य अन्तर निम्नलिखित हैं-

1. उद्यमी जोखिम वहनकर्ता होता है जबकि प्रबन्धक उद्देश्यों को प्राप्त करने के लिए नीति निर्धारित करता है।

2. उद्यमी अन्तर वैयक्तिक संचार में संलग्न रहता है जबकि प्रबन्धक औपचारिक संचार में संलग्न रहता है।

3. उद्यमी वार्ताकार होता है जबकि प्रबन्धक संगठनकर्ता होता है
